How can Art Therapy benefit you?

Art Therapy is the use of the art and the art process in a therapeutic setting to better explore, define, improve, or change a person's inner world.  Art Therapy was begun by art teachers who understood the value of expressing yourself through visual language.  Art Therapy uses everything available in order to effect change in clients: the environment, the media used, the canvas, the interactions, the metaphor, the timing, even clean up and storage have its own therapeutic basis.  Clients using Art Therapy learn to employ their visual style to tell their story more fully, and many find that it is a less intimidating therapeutic experience.

I have experience using Art Therapy as a healing tool in individual or group settings.  Below you will find details on my current offerings; if you have any questions or would like more information about these services, please feel free to contact me.
