Omaha Art Therapy LLC is a limited liability company focusing on the advancement of responsible and effective Art Therapy practices in the Omaha metro area. Understanding the power of art as a therapeutic tool is vital for the safety and healing of our clients. Omaha Art Therapy is founded by Pamela Mueggenberg, and collaborates with The Center for Mindful Living, Nebraskans for the Arts, and the Kansas Art Therapy Association to promote these values.
Individual sessions and in-house workshops are based in The Center for Mindful Living's wonderful new home in Dundee, at 621 N 51st Street. We are in a turn of the century home with natural light, meditation space, and plenty of storage for art supplies. Outpatient Art Therapist
Returning to my roots, I now have an Art Therapy based private practice with the Center for Mindful Living, nestled in the heart of Dundee. I specialize in attachment and trauma, major mood disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, Post-Partum Depression and Bipolar Disorder. Using our quiet, nurturing space I am able to draw in Mindfulness based practices as part of a client's artistic expression. Home Visitation Therapist In-home therapy for parents of at-risk children. Client’s diagnoses include Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, developmental delays, psychoses and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Provided comprehensive assessments, made clinical judgments regarding best practice for individual care, and consulted on all Home Visitation cases within the treatment team. Nonprofit Outpatient Therapist Provided attachment based, process oriented outpatient art and talk therapy to children and adults with major mental health disorders. Actively advocated for clients by attending school meetings, family team meetings, potential adoptive placement interviews, and psychiatric evaluations and medical checks.
